There will be no water sports or tours available as of the Wednesday and until Easter Sunday. All casinos and discos will be closed as well. (Aug 08/2006)(11:28EST)(MP)(#270533 In an effort to help reduce crime, the Dominican government has issued an immediate ban on the sale of Liquor in discotheques, bars, colmadones, Liquor stores and Casinos after midnight from Sunday to Thursday, and after 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. As the discotheque "AREITO" at the Caribe Club Princess (Sister property to the Bavaro Princess) is also open to the public, the new law will affect the disco and therefore clients that are staying at the Bavaro Princess will not be able to consume alcohol at the disco after midnight from Sunday to Thursday and after 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. The new law is also applicable to the Casino that clients of Bavaro Princess use, as the Casino belongs to Bavaro Princess but is also open to the public. The hotels in the Dominican are trying to work something out with the government to make allowances for Tourist Areas, but at present they have not come to a conclusion and the ban will continue in effect. All other hotels that have discos/ Casinos that are not open to the public are not being affected.

Full payment is due by EBB (Early Booking Bonus) DUE DATE. Please check the pricing screen on your booking, your invoice, our website or the brochure. Full payment will be due 45 days prior to departure for clients NOT taking advantage of EBB rates.

Please be advised that guests flying into the Punta Cana International Airport and staying at hotels in the La Romana area will experience a transfer time of approximately 2.5 to 3 hours from the airport to the hotel on the day of arrival. On the departure day the transfer time will be increased by approximately 2 to 3 hours to ensure guests arrive at the airport with plenty of time to check-in for return flights home.

Effective immediately, Air Transat will require that children under the age of 18 carry a letter of consent signed by both parents, the other parent, their legal guardian or custodial parent for each and every trip within the Dominican Republic if they travel with only one parent, unaccompanied, or with other acquaintances. The letter must stipulate the destination and duration of the intended trip.
