Additional security measures are still in effect for all flights to/from United States. Searches will be implemented at the check-in counters and at the gates.
Please note that only one carry on bag will be permitted on flights to/from the United States. We remind you that the maximum carry on bag size is: 23 x 40 x 51 cm (9 x 16 x 20 in), and your bag can weigh no more than 5 kilograms (11 pounds) and 15 kilograms (33 pounds) for passengers travelling in Club Class.
You may carry a personal item, in addition to your one carry on:
? medication or medical equipment (oxygen tank, doctor's bag);
? small purses OR briefcase OR laptops;
? camera bags;
? coats and outer garments;
? items for care of infants/babies;
? crutches;
? canes;
? walkers;
? containers carrying life sustaining items;
? special needs items;
? musical instruments;
? diplomatic or consular bags;
? duty-free purchases;
Items such as reading material, personal electronics, and medications must be stored in the passenger's carry-on bag, and packed prior to the security check. In general, having fewer carry-on items helps speed the screening process for everyone.
Passengers using our Online Check-in service who have no checked baggage must see the agent at the Baggage Drop counter who will authorize and tag your carry on bag, which is required for the security check point.
These regulations will be in effect until further notice received by Transport Canada.
